Ahmad ya habibi, Salam alayk
Ya Awn al-Gharibi, salam alayk
Ahmad, my beloved, peace be on you
You’re the praised, you’re the honoured,
Peace be on you.
Amnun was-salamun, salam alayk
Dinuka al-Islam, salam alayk.
Ji’ta bi’l Quran, salam alayk
Min ‘indir-Rahman, salam alayk
You taught us the Quran
With wisdom and compassion
Mercy to the worlds
Peacefulness is your goal
Ya Awn al-gharib, Ahmad ya Habibi
Salam alayk.
Helper of the stranger, Kind and forgiver,
Peace be on you.
Ji’ta bi-tauhid, salam alayk
Fuzta bi-tamjid, salam alayk
Min rabbin rahim, salam alayk
Min rabbin karim, salam alayk
The love of Allah you taught, salam alayk
Gratefulness you brought, salam alayk
Your character was the Quran, salam alayk
That made you the greatest human, salam alayk
Helper of the stranger, helper of the stranger
La ilaha illa Allah
La ilaha illa Allahu
Allahu Allah
This is the kalimah of tawhid
The oneness of Allah
Thisis the basis of our creed
No god but Allah
Prophet Muhammad peace be
Upon him advised us and said
This is the best remembrance
No god but Allah
It enlightens our hearts and
Fills us with light
It enhances our minds
Allahu Allah.
When we repeat it we become
Conscious of Allah
He is the all-seeing and knowing
Allahu Allah
Allah is the only one
And no one is like him
He has no father or son
Allahu Allah
Allah sent us Muhammad
To guide us to the path
And to make us understand
Allahu Allah
May the peace and blessings
Be on Muhammad
Whenever anyone mentions
Allahu Allah
Allah is the bestower
Of all the blessings
And he is the most generous giver
Allahu Allah
Salla Allahu ala Muhammad
Sallallahu ala Muhammad
Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam
Hadhihi ad-dunya tazulu
Wa’l baqa laysa yatulu
Kullu makhluqin yaqulu
Kun shafi’yi ya Muhammad
Hadihi ad-dunya ka sa’ah
Ij’ali al-a’mala ta’ah
Washtari khayra bida’ah
Hubba hadina Muhammad
Ya imam al-atqiya
Ya khitam al-ambiya
Ya dalil al-awliya
Ya hakimu ya Muhammad
Ya shafi al-mudhnibina
Ya dalil al-ha’irina
Rahmatan lil-‘alamina
Ya Habibi ya Muhammad
Ya Rasulullah, Ya Habibullah
Ya Rasulullah, Ya Habibullah, Ya Nura ‘aini Ya Habibi
Ya Rahmatan arsalaka Allah, Ya Khayra khalqillah
Ya Adhim al-Jah, Ya Muzammil, Ya Muddaththir
Ya Rahmatan arsalaka Allah.
Allah the greatest made you the humblest
So soft and gentle, so compassionate
In your sincerity and humility
You are the guide, ya Rasulullah
Taha al-Aminu, Taha al-Karimu
Bina Ra’ufu, bina Rahimu
Anta ash-shafi’ ya Rasulullah
He wants you all to love each other
Respect and honour and be together
Answer his call, you grow and prosper
Your love unites, ya Rasulullah
Salli ya Rabbi Ala an-nadhir
Khayru mu’allim huwa al-bashir
Siraj al-munir ya Rasulullah
He was so helpful, kind and respectful
Honouring and living with all people
Regardless of their race, regardless of their faith
He was so wonderful, Rasulullah

Ya Rabbi Salli Alayhi wa sallim
Huwa ra’ufu, huwa rahimu
Wa khulquhu khulqun azimu
As-sadiq al-wa’d al-aminu
Alayhi rabbi salli wa sallim
Huwa bashiru, huwa nadhiru
Huwa siraju, huwa muniru
Huwa saburu, huwa shakuru
Alayhi rabbi salli wa sallim
Huwa muzammil, huwa Muddaththir
Huwa mu’allim huwa munawwir
Huwa mubayyin, huwa mua’thir
Alayhi rabbi salli wa sallim
Huwa nabiyyu, huwa ummiyu
Huwa naqiyyu, huwa zakiyyu
Huwa taqiyyu, huwa safiyyu
Alayhi rabbi salli wa sallim
Huwa bassamu, huwa imamu
Huwa rasulu, huwa shafi’u
Huwa shuja’u, huwa mani’u

You’ve manifested everything in wonder
Look at the mountains, subhanallah
Look at the trees, subhanallah
Look at the stars, subhanallah
Look at the streams, glorify Allah.
How beautiful they are, praising you Allah.
Oh Allah, our lord, ya Mawlana
Oh Allah, our lord, there are many signs
In this world, showing us you are sublime
The scent of the flowers, praises of Allah
The whispers of the wind, praises of Allah
The gentle rains embrace, praises of Allah
The singing of the birds, praises of Allah
All these are his creation, adoring in prostration
Oh Allah, our lord, ya Mawlana
Oh Allah, you’ve graced us with Muhammad
He’s a mercy to the worlds and the blessed
He was so kind, Rasulullah
Caring and forbearing, Rasulullah
He was so bright, Rasulullah
Loving and forgiving, Nabiyallah
The best character, the humblest worshipper

Mawlaya salli wa sallim da’iman abadan
Ala Habibika khayri al-khalqi kullihimi
Da’a ila Allahi, fa al-mustamsikuna bihi
Mustamsikuna bi hablin ghayra munfasimi
Muhammadun sayyid al-kawnayni wa ath-thaqalayn
Wa’l fariqayni min ‘urbin wa min ‘ajami
Faqa an-nabiyyina fi khalin wa fi khuluqin
Wa lam yudanuhu fi ‘ilmin wa la karami
Huwa al-habib alladhi turja shafa’atahu
Likulli hawlin min al-ahwali muqtahimi
Fa mablagha al-‘ilmi annahu basharun
Wa annahu khayru khalqi Allahi kullihimi
Akrim bi-khalqi nabiyyin za nahu khuluqun
Bil-husni mushtamilin bil-bishri muttasimi
Ka az-zahri fi tarafin, wa al-badri fi sharafin
Wa al-bahri fi karamin wa ad-dahri fi himami
Sarayta min haramin laylan ila haramin
Kama sara al-badru fi dajin min ath-thulami
Wa bitta tarqa ila an-nilta manzilatan
Min qqabi qawsayni lam tudrak wa lam turami
Fa inna fadhla rasulillahi laysa lahu
Haddun fa yu’ribu ‘anhu natiqun bi fami
Ka annama lu’lu al-maqnuni fi sadafin
Min ma’danay mantiqin minhu wa mubtasami
