Be Great People

annual Charity Week Midlands event at which we find out what we all
raised for orphans around the world hosted at the University of
Birmingham! Shaykh Faraz Rabbani will be delivering a talk entitled "Be
Great People", followed with a question and answer session. Alongside
this will be nasheeds by Talib al-Habib and Qira'at by Hassen Rasool.
This is an event to find out who raised the most money for CW
Midlands '07 from amongst all the universities, colleges and schools of
the Midlands as well as seeing what actually happened during the week
of collections. Do not miss it!

Awakening Hearts is the first event of its kind to be held in Burton-upon-Trent. It is an introduction to the sacred sciences, hoping to awaken the minds and hearts of the Muslims to the beauty of this blessed religion in a clear and systematic manner.
Talib al-Habib will be conducting a workshop on 'How to connect to Allah in three easy (?) steps,' comprising of an analysis of the source, definitions, boundaries, methodology and goals of the terms Iman, Islam and Ihsan. He will also be performing dhikr and nasheeds. Other speakers include: Shaykh Yazdani MISBAHI (Islam Channel) and Sidi Munawwar Ateeq.
