Sheik Abbas Cassim has mastered the art of recitation of salaams upon the Holy Prophet over twenty years, under the guidance and tutelage of Hazrat Ghulam Muhyi ad-Din Kazi. This instruction has taken the form of learning rhythm and meter; but moreover an in-depth interpretation of the profound meanings of the lyric, which serves to increase and deepen one’s love of the Beloved Prophet. This is his first published album, and he is currently working on his second, which will be dedicated to Imam Hussain and the family of the Holy Prophet martyred at Karbala.
